Restoration of linear greenery at Amálie

Along the cleared drainage channel in the northern part of Amálie in the Karlův luh catchment, and also along one of the dirt roads, we established two new tree alleys in autumn 2020 by planting hundreds of new summer oak seedlings in cooperation with AOPK.

In 2021, we focused on the reconstruction of existing tree alleys. First of all, we took care of the old trees and then planted the gaps with high-growing seedlings of wild fruit tree varieties - apple, pear, cherry and walnut trees, and from less traditional trees - white mulberry, wild service tree and rowan. All planting had to be treated against game grazing in an area of very abundant wildlife.

The planting and the greenery maintenance were financed by the project of the OPŽP - CZ.05.4.27/0.0/0.0/20_140/0013394 Addition of vegetation elements to the landscape in the Amálie area.
